Officials in Massachusetts stated that 3 individuals were hurt after a tiny airplane smashed in a neighborhood on Sunday afternoon.
Just after 1 p.m., firefighters and police officers who had been dispatched in response to many 911 calls located the single-engine Cessna 182 in a forested area among 2 houses in the town of Stow, according to a police spokesperson.
Three people were aboard the aircraft; one of them managed to escape on their own, but another two required assistance from emergency personnel.
According to the spokeswoman, all 3 of them were brought to the neighboring Minute Man Air Field and then transported by medical helicopter to a Worcester hospital having wounds that are thought to not be life-threatening.
There was not much data provided regarding the injured victims.
In an e-mail, the Federal Aviation Administration stated that an investigation will be conducted along with the National Transportation Safety Board.
