Malik Blocton, a 2024 defensive tackle from Pike Road (Ala.) High School, received an offer from Clemson on Saturday.
Nick Eason noticed Blocton at the Dabo Swinney Camp this summer, and he earned an offer from Auburn through Eason in October 2021.
Eason Told Blocton (6-3, 270) About Clemson’s Offer on Saturday.
Blocton told The Clemson Insider, “Coach Eason told me I had an opportunity.”
Clemson’s head coach highlighted Blocton’s Saturday visit to Tiger Town.
Blocton stated meeting Coach Swinney was the visit’s highlight. His energy is incredible! He felt like a priority prospect when he spoke with Eason, Lemanski Hall, and Wes Goodwin.
Blocton stated his teammates were delighted about him and made him feel special.
Blocton has also visited Auburn, Alabama, and Tennessee. His 20-plus offers include Clemson, Auburn, Tennessee, Florida, Kentucky, Arkansas, South Carolina, Missouri, and Maryland.
