As per his arrest record, a man who was discovered in Bucktown this weekend with an automatic-fire revolver, an AR-15 rifle, including 22 bags of cocaine informed Chicago police that he didn’t like how they “jacked my s**t.”

Judge David Kelly sent Riley Rice, 25, of the 1100 block of North Wolcott, into jail until trial during a detention hearing.

At about 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, police were called to reports of gunfire in the 2200 block of North Leavitt. According to police, they discovered 17 bullet casings at the location and spoke with witnesses who had seen a man take a black bookbag out from under an SUV and leave with a woman following the gunshots.

Based on the complaint, Rice was stopped by police in the 2200 block of West Dickens as he was strolling with a woman and holding a black bag. The clank of a “large object” striking the ground was heard by the police as he put the bag down. According to the press release, one police officer observed the barrel of a loaded AR-15 gun when they peeked into the opened bag.
