The governor of Wisconsin wants the state’s fake electors from 2020 to be prosecuted

To rig the 2020 presidential election in favor of former President Trump, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers (D) suggested on Friday that the ten individuals who took part in the phony electors plan in his state must face criminal charges.

During a bill passing ceremony, Evers declared, “There needs to be accountability,” as reported by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Since what they performed was wrong, I’m hoping someone would take up the responsibility here because it must.

Yet, Wisconsin was not one of the states to experience efforts by phony electors to invalidate the outcomes of their state’s presidential election in 2020. Republicans in 6 additional states that Trump destroyed, including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania, took part in the plot.

Attorney General Dana Nessel (D) of Michigan announced last month that 16 people had been charged with attempting to influence the state’s election results.
