Suspects at large fatally shot a 27-year-old woman identified as Tyesha Merritt and injured her brother and his three children in a shooting incident near an apartment in Texas Sunday.
According to authorities, they responded immediately after receiving a report about a shooting incident and discovered the victims, who suffered from several gunshot wounds, and the lifeless body of Merritt inside their car parked near the apartment of the injured man.
The injured man reportedly recovered from the wounds he sustained from the shooting incident, while his three children are still in critical condition and receiving treatment at the hospital.
Suspects in the Texas Shooting Incident Remain At Large After Killing 27-Year-Old Woman and Injuring Four Other Family Members
Following the shooting incident, authorities are still searching for the whereabouts of the suspects, who reportedly were riding in a late model of a black sedan, wearing masks to hide their identities.
Authorities encouraged witnesses of the shooting incident to come forward and contact them immediately if they knew any crucial information that would help the case, CNN reported.
