A 23-year-old Texas murder suspect named Rafael Govea Romero was arrested after murdering a high school cheerleader Lizbeth Medina, who was found dead by her mother in a bathtub inside their home after the Texas murder suspect stabbed her to death.
According to a report published in ABC News, authorities received a report about the Texas murder suspect fatally stabbing the high school cheerleader inside their home, wherein the victim’s mother went back to their home after she failed to show up at the event she was expected to perform to.
During the investigation, authorities claimed that the Texas murder suspect had been seen in security photos, and they found evidence inside the car of the Texas murder suspect, proving that he was involved in the tragic murder; however, authorities did not specifically reveal the evidence that they found in the Texas murder suspect.
Texas Murder Suspect Faces Murder Charge After Fatally Stabbing High School Cheerleader Inside Her Home
Following the arrest, the Texas murder suspect remained in police custody after fatally stabbing the high school cheerleader inside her home with a $2 million bond for the murder charge filed against him, ABC13 reported.
Authorities continued investigating the stabbing incident while the victim’s family, who claimed that they didn’t know the Texas murder suspect or his relationship with the victim, mourned the tragic loss.
