14-Year-Old Boy Dies While Three Others Injured After Car Crash Suspect Failed to Control Jeep at Car Wash

A 16-year-old car crash suspect failed to control the jeep at the car wash he was working at, resulting in the death of a 14-year-old boy identified as Sean Richards and severely injuring three others wherein the car crash suspect accidentally pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake.

According to a report published in the Chicago Tribune, the car crash suspect failed to stop the jeep and accidentally hit the young victim, who later died while the car crash suspect eventually hit three others eating inside a restaurant who were rushed to the hospital after sustaining serious injuries.

During the investigation, authorities revealed that there was another customer whom the car crash suspect hit, but he was immediately treated at the scene and left while the three other victims who were left injured then filed charges against the car crash suspect, seeking monetary compensation for damages.

Teen Car Crash Suspect Will Not Face Any Criminal Charges for Accidentally Hitting Victims, Killing One Following Investigation

Following a thorough investigation, the car crash suspect will not face any criminal charges after accidentally hitting several victims resulting in the death of a 14-year-old victim as investigators claimed that it was all an accident.

The three-month investigation revealed that the car crash suspect had no intention to harm the victims or, worst, kill them, leading to the decision to charge him with three traffic offenses instead of criminal offenses, CBS News reported.
