A suspect was arrested after fatally shooting his parents and two others before stealing nine guns from them during a Maine shooting incident.

A 32-year-old suspect named Joseph Eaton was arrested after fatally shooting his parents, Cynthia Eaton and David Eaton, and their two friends, Robert Eger and Patricia Eger, before stealing nine guns from them.
During the investigation, authorities discovered that the suspect also stole money and credit cards from the victims amounting to $10,000 and reportedly killed a dog during the shooting incident in Maine.
Only days before the shooting incident, the suspect had only been released from prison after serving two year-sentence for illegal possession of firearms and assault in 2014, banning him from possessing guns.

Maine Shooting Suspect Faces Multiple Charges After Shooting His Parents and Two Others to Death Before Stealing Guns and Money from Them
Following the suspect’s arrest, authorities also investigated other related cases to ensure that the residents could live peacefully without fearing for their safety every day.
