Supermarket Employee Arrested After Allegedly Assaulting Rudy Giuliani Files Lawsuit
A supermarket employee named Daniel Gill spent 21 hours in jail after allegedly assaulting and calling Rudy Giuliani names such as a “scumbag” during his son’s campaign as governor in New York.
During the investigation, Giuliani claimed that the supermarket employee hit him hard in the back, leading to the man’s arrest for felony assault, which is now dismissed, AP News reported.
The supermarket employee filed a lawsuit against Giuliani and several officers of the New York Police Department, who arrested him without listening to his claims and despite having a video that clearly proved his innocence.
