Special Counsel criticises Hunter Biden for a “Hollywood script” plot when cocaine is discovered in a weapons bag

Hunter Biden claimed on Tuesday that his indictment was limited to firearms charges because to right-wing bias, but his claims were rejected by the office of special counsel David Weiss.

As part of their efforts to have 3 felony weapon charges against the US president’s son dropped, Mr. Weiss’s attorneys have accused the former president’s appointee, Donald Trump, of “[breaking] under political stress” from congressional Republicans who support their client.

In a court document, Mr. Biden’s legal team claimed that Mr. Weiss, an insider from the Trump Administration, was under political pressure to prosecute Mr. Biden more vigorously than other people in comparable circumstances and to do so out of retaliation. “It might be the deciding factor in his political future among this constituency.”
