In a historic milestone, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket is poised for its 17th launch, equalling the previous record, and it’s all set to unfold tonight, September 23

To witness this remarkable event, simply tune into SpaceX‘s X (formerly known as Twitter) account, where live coverage is scheduled to commence about five minutes before the launch. This momentous occasion marks the 17th liftoff and touchdown for this particular Falcon 9’s inaugural stage, as per SpaceX’s mission description. This achievement ties the company’s reuse record, a feat that was just achieved four days ago by another SpaceX Falcon 9 during a Starlink satellite launch.

As the clock ticks down, approximately 65 minutes post-launch, the SpaceX Falcon 9’s upper stage is primed to release the 22 Starlink satellites into their designated orbits
