Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas urged previously this week for a bill requiring automakers to put AM radio bands on all automobile radios to pass with unanimous approval.
Cruz emphasized how the AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act, which was ultimately defeated by Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, would expand the influence of his conservative allies and termed the legislation “enormously significant for millions of Texans.”
However, according to Texas Tribune executive editor for politics and news Matthew Watkins, it doesn’t stop there.
Watkins stated, “So Cruz will make an effort to make it to the floor for a full vote.” “He is fairly certain that he can pull that off. If so, it will be brought to the House for possible passage into law.
