San Antonio Man Arrested for Alleged Murder of Girlfriend After She Refused to Have a Child with Him

A San Antonio man was arrested for allegedly shooting his girlfriend to death after she refused to have a child with him.

San Antonio Man Allegedly Shot His Girlfriend to Death

San Antonio man Adam Byrd, 23, was arrested for shooting and killing his girlfriend, Jade Alyssa Alvarez, 22 years old and a mother of a 3-year-old son, after she refused to have a child with him.

A criminal complaint for murder was filed against the San Antonio man on April 6 when the authorities found Alvarez with multiple gunshot wounds, according to the True Crime Daily.

A witness reported that Alvarez borrowed her phone and talked to Byrd the night before she was found dead. The witness claimed that Alvarez went to Capitol Avenue to allegedly meet with the San Antonio man before the tragic incident.

San Antonio Man Faces Robbery Charge

Aside from the alleged murder, the San Antonio man also faced an aggravated robbery charge after a witness identified him for allegedly robbing a store on April 1, days before he killed Alvarez.

Upon the investigation, the San Antonio Police discovered Byrd had a gun at the time of the robbery, the same gun he used to kill his girlfriend.
