Law enforcement has descended upon the Bowdoin, Maine residence of alleged gunman Robert Card, as they believe they are closing in on the suspect responsible for the recent shooting rampage.
Surrounding Robert Card’s home are an array of law enforcement vehicles, drones, and helicopters, creating a tense and dynamic scene
Authorities have reported possible movement observed through a window in the residence, prompting them to issue commands via loudspeaker, urging Robert Card, or any potential occupants to peacefully surrender.
While authorities have not confirmed the presence of anyone inside, they are taking extensive precautions, including the deployment of armored vehicles and aerial drones. It appears that entering Robert Card’s last known residence is not an immediate priority; instead, their focus is on coaxing any individuals inside to exit with their hands raised. Surveillance footage captured Robert Card during Wednesday night’s tragic events, where he unleashed gunfire within a bowling alley and a bar, resulting in the loss of 18 lives.
Robert Card managed to evade capture, triggering a widespread manhunt that led to instructions for residents in various towns to seek shelter
In response, there has been a surge in firearm purchases, while comedians Pete Davidson and John Mulaney have postponed their upcoming Maine comedy performances. Due to Robert Card’s military background, he enlisted in the Army Reserve over two decades ago, law enforcement is proceeding with caution, employing a deliberate and methodical approach outside his residence.
