Robbery Suspect Arrested for Stealing More Than $13,000 Worth of Time Warp Comic Books in Colorado

A 35-year-old robbery suspect arrested named James Dobbins Wear was accused of breaking in and stealing over $13,000 worth of comic books in a Colorado Time Warp Comics, wherein the robbery suspect arrested was caught after selling the stolen comic books in other comic bookstores.

According to a report published in Daily Camera, the robbery suspect arrested was caught after the comic bookstore owners where he sold the stolen comic books watched the news about the robbery and identified the robbery suspect arrested and the comic books he sold as the stolen items.

During the investigation, authorities confirmed the identity of the robbery suspect arrested through a surveillance video and the vehicle he used to leave, wherein the robbery suspect arrested even left his real name in one of the comic bookstores where he sold the stolen items.

With authorities catching the robbery suspect arrested, the Time Warp owner is still collecting funds in GoFundMe, which would help replace the store’s front door and other damages sustained.

The robbery suspect arrested faced multiple charges, such as burglary, after stealing comic books and selling them again to two bookstores while he was still facing other burglary and misdemeanor cases, Westword reported.
