Rex Heuermann, the suspect in the Gilgo Beach murders, has been found to have made numerous explicit Google searches for child pornography and disturbing media

Despite the evidence presented, Rex Heuermann has pleaded not guilty to all charges. In a bail application, officials revealed that Rex Heuermann conducted thousands of Google searches for explicit pornography and also sought information on local sex workers. Due to the explicit nature of the searches, Fox News Digital has chosen not to provide specific details. Some of the searches allegedly made by Rex Heuermann include phrases like “mistress long Island” and “mature escorts Manhattan.”

Disturbingly, many of these searches involved child pornography

Law enforcement authorities obtained Rex Heuermann’s Google search history by securing a warrant for a disposable email account associated with burner phones that were linked to him. The searches included queries such as “Why could law enforcement not trace the calls made by the Long Island serial killer,” “Why hasn’t the Long Island serial killer been caught,” and “In Long Island, serial killer investigation, new phone technology may be key to break in the case.” Additionally, Rex Heuermann sought out documentaries, podcasts, and articles related to the investigation.

The bail application shed light on the extensive and disturbing online activity of Rex Heuermann, further deepening the investigation into the Gilgo Beach murders.
