One of the 13 House Republicans targeted by promoters of student loan debt forgiveness in 2024 is U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert.

Considering the U.S. Supreme Court decision that President Joe Biden’s debt relief plan is unconstitutional, opponents of canceling student loan debt are gathering to keep GOP lawmakers “accountable” in the 2024 voting cycle.

The liberal Protect Students Action is going after 13 U.S. House districts in California, Colorado, Michigan, Nebraska, New York, Oregon, and Pennsylvania, where Republicans opposed Vice President Biden’s proposal to cancel up to $20,000 in student loan debt for over 40 million qualified students.

The Higher Education Loan Authority, also referred to as MOHELA is a loan servicer in Missouri. On Friday, the Supreme Court decided, by a vote of 6-3, with Chief Justice John Roberts authoring for the conservative majority.
