The ‘Rust’ armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, was charged with a new accusation after allegedly hiding away a “tiny bag of cocaine” on the very same day as ‘Rust’ cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins, was fatally shot and killed.

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was employed on the set of the movie as “Rust’s Armorer” when Alec Baldwin, a famous actor, was holding a gun that accidentally killed Hutchins.
Jason Lewis and Kari Morrissey, special prosecutors of the “Rust” armorer’s case, state that Reed’s supposed transfer of the cocaine bag from her side was an attempt made by ‘Rust’ armorer to clear herself of directly relating the said possession as collected evidence in the mishandled use of a firearm in the Oct. 21, 2021 shooting.

The “Rust” armorer’s new charges came after Baldwin’s charge of involuntary manslaughter was dropped in the First Judicial District Court of New Mexico. However, he can still potentially face new charges regarding the case as “new facts’ have been revealed by the special prosecutors that couldn’t be submitted before the actor’s preliminary hearing, scheduled for May 3.
Aside from this dropped lawsuit, Baldwin is still facing numerous charges from “Rust” script supervisor, Mamie Mitchell and one from Hutchins’ family members, which are both represented by Atty. Gloria Allred.
In addition to the “Rust’ armorer’s case, Jason Bowles, “Rust” armorer’s lawyer questions the motion filed by prosecutors according to his statement to Fox News Digital.
“A secret witness appears 20 months later? With no actual corroboration or evidence? And the state won’t identify the person? This is a throwback to the secret, star chamber prosecutions in England in the 15th century that were abolished,” he remarked. “Like everything else with the state’s case and investigation, it’s full of sound and fury, but signifying nothing.”
He also criticized the previous drug allegation of “Rust” armorer, Reed, as something “vindictive and retaliatory”
