The arrest follows Priscilla Stewart alleged involvement in an armed robbery at the Dollar General store along Lancaster Highway in Richburg on Sunday evening.
Priscilla Stewart, aged 38, has been apprehended on Monday morning by the Chester County Sheriff’s Office, in connection to a series of armed robberies across the Carolinas
The incident occurred around 6:10 p.m. near Interstate 77. Swiftly after the robbery unfolded, law enforcement pinpointed Priscilla Stewart as the prime suspect. A relentless overnight effort led to her arrest, as she was located during a traffic stop close to Pinckney Street in Chester.
Presently, Priscilla Stewart is being held in custody at the Chester County Detention Center. Priscilla Stewart now faces charges linked to the Dollar General robbery that transpired on Sunday evening.
Investigators have linked Priscilla Stewart to various other heists, including two bank robberies and an additional retail establishment in North Carolina, as well as a retail business in Rock Hill
In collaboration with the Winston-Salem Police Department in North Carolina, Pineville Police Department, and the Rock Hill Police Department, the sheriff’s office is working to establish connections between Priscilla Stewart and similar crimes in their respective areas. As of now, no further particulars have been disclosed.
