Police: A multistate serial killer of women might be the suspect in the Manhattan hotel murder

The man is in custody in Arizona, where he is accused of 2 murders, based on authorities. He has been accused of beating and strangling a Queens woman at a SoHo hotel previously this month.

Denisse Oleas-Arancibia, 38, was discovered previously this month at the SoHo 54 Hotel probably on February 7 or 8. Raad Almansoori, 26, is charged with her death. Detectives reported that fragments of plastic had been inserted in the victim’s skull and that a broken iron was found at the site.

While in detention in Arizona, Almansoori revealed statements connecting himself to a series of assaults on women, which included the fatal attack in the New York City hotel, knife attacks in Surprise and Phoenix, and an assault in Florida.

According to the authorities, escort women are involved in several of those crimes.

Chief of Detectives for the NYPD Joe Kenney remarked, “He advises the cops they must search for SoHo 54 Hotel.”

Kenney alleged that Almansoori also claimed to have injured up to 3 women in Florida.

When police from Surprise, Arizona, went to a McDonald’s on Sunday morning, they discovered a woman who was stabbed several times. After robbing a nearby car, the suspect—later identified as Almansoori—was apprehended by the Scottsdale authorities Department and taken into custody alongside the vehicle, according to the authorities. At this point, according to Surprise police, Almansoori acknowledged the stabbing that had taken place in Phoenix a couple of days earlier.

According to authorities, Almansoori is being prosecuted in Surprise for a murder attempt, stealing of methods, and severe assault, and in Phoenix for robbery, assault, burglary, and criminal harm.

There is no bond placed on him.

As per authorities, detectives are currently investigating unexplained crimes in Florida and Texas, where Almansoori has resided and been arrested before, involving the kidnapping and sexual assault of a female.

“Most of the charges involve domestic abuse and violence,” stated Kenney.
