Police: A clear road rage hammer attack has injured two individuals

In what appeared to be an act of road rage on Monday night in New York City, officials say a man holding a hammer attacked 2 people, causing injuries.

According to WABC-TV, the attack happened in Queens’ Jackson Heights neighborhood at around 5:30 p.m. EST.

A 29-year-old male and a 22-year-old woman have been named as the victims, per WCBS-TV. According to the TV station, they got into a fight with another driver near 93rd Street and 37th Avenue while they were going home.

Based on a WABC story, the male and the woman were brought to the hospital for treatment. The man was hurt in the body, and the woman was hurt in the head.
