A 51-year-old owner of In-Home Daycare is in police custody after allegedly leaving seven children, one of them died, alone at her apartment in Tennessee. The police said the owner of In-Home Daycare ran an unlicensed daycare business.
The owner of In-Home Daycare has been charged with six counts of child neglect after the incident that happened in April.
The 3-month-old baby was found dead, and the other children, aged up to 16 months old, were found in the Tennessee apartment of the owner of In-Home Daycare. The children were discovered in the apartment of the owner of In-Home Daycare by the mother of the deceased 3-month-old baby and another parent. The six children were in good health and safety.

The owner of In-Home Daycare was found later that day of the incident with self-inflicted wounds
The owner of In-Home Daycare told the police authorities that she found the 3-month-old baby unconscious and attempted to do CPR.
The owner of In-Home Daycare allegedly told police that when the CPR was unsuccessful, she left the In-Home Daycare and attempted to commit suicide.
