Officials in Casa Grande have reported that a tragic occurrence happened over the weekend when a shooting erupted during a home party, leaving one youngster dead and another injured.
The Casa Grande Police Department was notified of a shooting along Kortsen Road and Pinal Avenue at around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday. When the police arrived, they found 2 girls, ages seventeen, who had been shot.
Following a gunshot injury to her head, young Hailey Stephens was taken to a hospital in the Valley in serious condition. Regretfully, she didn’t survive that night.
The second adolescent received medical attention for a gunshot injury to her arm, according to the authorities. Thankfully, her wounds do not pose a threat to her life, and a full recovery is expected.
