On Sunday, November 19, 2023, there was a shooting incident at Prospect Park that left one man injured and 4 suspects at large. Around three o’clock in the afternoon, a 37-year-old man got involved in a fight with four other male suspects. As things got out of hand, one of the suspects shot the man in the leg.
After being transported to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, the victim’s status is now stable. Officials launched a manhunt to apprehend the 4 suspects following the event. A single of the suspects has been captured as of Monday, November 29, 2023; the other 3 are still at large.
