Omaha Shooting Victim Dies After Being Shot Eight Times While Attending a House Party

A 20-year-old Omaha shooting victim named Karly Wood died after being shot eight times during a mass shooting incident while attending a house party, which also left seven other attendees injured aside from the Omaha shooting victim, who was the only one who reportedly died from the shooting incident.

According to a report published in WOWT, authorities received a report about a mass shooting incident at a house party, where the Omaha shooting victim was shot multiple times while seven others were injured as responding officers pronounced the Omaha shooting victim dead at the crime scene.

During the investigation, two of the suspects who killed the Omaha shooting victim were identified as injured victims reported in the mass shooting; however, they later claimed during the trial that they were drunk at that time which is why they started shooting carelessly, without thinking that anyone, including the Omaha shooting victim, could die from it.

Omaha Shooting Victim’s Mother Remembers Her Daughter a Year After She Was Brutally Killed in Mass Shooting at House Party

A year after the Omaha shooting victim was killed, her mother remembered her and her great memories with them before she was shot to death just because she wanted to have fun with her friends at a house party, KETV reported.

Omaha shooting victim’s mother hoped that no other parent should not deal with the same loss she had experienced, especially after no one from her daughter’s friend who invited her to the house party ever spoke up to help in the case.
