An incident in Ohio led to the arrest of a woman who allegedly posed as a Child Protective Services (CPS) worker and attempted to lure a 4-year-old boy from his front yard. Lisa Nacrelli, 44, has been charged with child enticement, burglary, and impersonating an officer following the incident on June 17.

Surveillance footage captured by the boy’s parents shows Nacrelli approaching the child as he sat on his bike in front of his house. She patted his back and stroked his hair before reportedly asking him to come home with her. The boy went inside and informed his mother about the situation.

Nacrelli, who identified herself as “Lisa,” allegedly claimed to work for CPS and showed a badge to the boy’s mother, Jaimie Spradlin. She even knew the names of all their children. However, suspicion arose when Nacrelli failed to provide her contact information. The parents reviewed the surveillance footage and realized the extent of the incident, which left them deeply disturbed.

Further investigation revealed that Nacrelli was not associated with Child Protective Services. Jaimie Spradlin expressed her concern and fear, questioning Nacrelli’s intentions and what her plan might have been, especially as she mentioned a black vehicle with a fancy car seat for the boy.

According to an affidavit, Nacrelli admitted to having consumed alcohol throughout the day. She claimed that she posed as a CPS worker to frighten the parents when she saw the boy alone on her way back home. Nacrelli was subsequently arrested and taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center, where she is being held on a $10,000 bond.

At present, it remains unclear whether Nacrelli has entered a plea or obtained legal representation. The charges against her include child enticement, burglary, and impersonating an officer. This disturbing incident serves as a reminder of the importance of vigilance and caution when it comes to the safety and well-being of children.
