Officials save 5 individuals as an aircraft crash into the water close to the Bahamas

A private jet collapsed on Thursday into waterways close to the Bahamas, prompting the recovery of 5 persons, according to the Bahamas’ Aircraft Accident Investigation Authority.

According to the Royal Bahamas Police Force, the plane crashed into the water around 10 nautical miles north of the Bahamas’ island of Andros while en route to Florida.

Based on Volunteer Pilot Group, a Florida-based group that matches volunteer pilots with customers seeking assistance and claimed to have organized the flight, there were 2 pilots and 3 passengers on board the airplane.

According to officials, all 5 were saved and taken back to Andros Island. According to the officials, they are getting evacuated to get treated for injuries that are not fatal.

The Aircraft Accident Investigation Authority claimed that the plane involved was a single-engine Piper PA-32 with an American license.
