OceanGate received criticism after posting a pilot job advertisement amidst the search-and-rescue operations for the Titan submersible disappearance, which was later reported to have been imploded underwater.
According to reports from Daily News, OceanGate posted hiring of new pilots in a now-deleted job listing, calling for those who can manage submersibles and vessels of the company, describing it as an opportunity for professional pilots who needed a job.
Following the criticism they got from posting the pilot job ads, OceanGate immediately deleted the job listing online days after the confirmation of the death of the company’s CEO and four other billionaires inside the Titan submersible that imploded.
