Somalia Police said that nine people were killed through an extremist attack on a beachside hotel

The Somalia police said that nine people died, ten were wounded, and 84 were rescued from the extremist attack that lasted early morning of Saturday.

Al-Qaida’s East Africa affiliate, al-Shabab, announced that he was responsible for the attack. The Somalia-based extremist group is identified for attacks on hotels and other significant locations in Mogadishu. The extremist attack usually starts with a suicide bombing.

The extremist attack witnesses said some people were trapped inside the Pearl Beach hotel. The Lido Beach area is one of the most popular beaches.
