32-year-old New Mexico police cadet Taylor Hagan lost her life in a shooting perpetrated by her husband, 41-year-old Briton Hagan, as revealed by investigators

Briton Hagan’s life came to an end at the scene of the incident. New Mexico Police Chief Harold Medina provided details, confirming that New Mexico police cadet Taylor Hagan was an active member of the police academy.

The body of the deceased officer was respectfully transferred to the Office of the Medical Investigator, accompanied by an honor guard. The somber event highlights the challenges and dangers faced by those in law enforcement, even within their own homes.

Expressing condolences, Mayor Tim Keller characterized New Mexico police cadet Taylor Hagan’s death as a tragic loss for the Albuquerque police community.
