Murder Suspect Claims Self-Defense After Murdering Neighbor Following Series of Arguments

A 58-year-old murder suspect named Susan Louise Lorincz claimed self-defense after fatally shooting her 35-year-old neighbor Ajika “Aj” Owens following a series of arguments due to Lorincz’s racist actions towards the victim and her family.

According to authorities, they immediately responded to a report about a shooting incident and arrested the murder suspect, who eventually admitted to the crime but claimed self-defense as she detailed how the victim tried to break down her door and attacked her.

During the investigation, the murder suspect told the authorities that she fired at the victim after she aggressively knocked on her door multiple times to confront her about her racist actions, which led to the tragic incident.

Victim’s Family Demands More Serious Charges for Murder Suspect Despite Self-Defense Claims

Following the trial, the family of the 35-year-old woman demanded more serious charges for the murder suspect, who was charged with manslaughter and simple assault.

The victim’s family claimed that the murder suspect pulled the trigger with the intention to kill Owens and not an act of self-defense as the victim confronted her unarmed, Law and Crime reported.
