Murder Suspect Arrested After Fatally Shooting Surgeon in Tennessee Claims He Was Diagnosed with Schizophrenia

The murder suspect arrested identified as 29-year-old Larry Pickens was accused of fatally shooting a surgeon named Dr. Benjamin Mauck inside an exam room in a Tennessee clinic, wherein the murder suspect arrested claimed he was suffering from mental issues and was diagnosed with schizophrenia.

During the investigation, authorities responded to a report about a shooting incident about the murder suspect arrested shooting the surgeon multiple times until his death, and the murder suspect arrested tried to flee from the scene after murdering the victim.

According to a report from CBS News, witnesses of the shooting incident claimed that the murder suspect arrested stayed at the clinic before fatally shooting the victim, and some of the nurses recognized the murder suspect arrested, who had been visiting the clinic often.
