Alabama Mom was reported missing on the last week of May

The search for a missing Alabama mom became a homicide case after police found her body dead and burned in a wooded place in Birmingham.

First responders went to the crime scene and extinguished the flame. The responders observed visible signs of trauma to the Alabama mom, and she was later identified as Jermiera Ivory Fowler, who reported a missing person in the last week of May.

The Alabama mom sustained a gunshot wound before being set on fire, according to Jefferson County Coroner Bill Yates.

Police investigators initially stated that the Alabama mom disappeared following a Facebook marketplace meetup, but the police could not confirm the meeting. The person responsible is not yet determined.
