Mexican Drug Lord Pleads with Federal Judge to Let Him See His Wife and 9-Year-Old Daughters in Colorado Prison

A 66-year-old Mexican drug lord named Joaquin Guzman also known as “El Chapo” pleaded with the federal judge to let him see his wife and 9-year-old twin daughters in a Colorado prison, wherein the Mexican drug lord was serving a life sentence and another 30 years in prison.

According to a report published in CBS News, the Mexican drug lord claimed in his plea that he wanted his wife, Emma Coronel Aispuro, to visit him as his sisters and mother could not travel to Colorado due to a lack of travel visas and the Mexican drug lord wanted to see his daughters.

The Mexican drug lord, who had been convicted of multiple charges, also revealed that prosecutors denied his plea and claimed that his wife could pass messages to him or the witnesses; however, the Mexican drug lord said it would not happen because visits would be recorded.
