Mcsally Alleges She Was Sexually Abused While Running

Former Senator Martha McSally (R-Ariz.) revealed that she was sexually attacked on Wednesday while out on a walk alongside the Missouri River, which borders Nebraska and Iowa.

“I am OK,” McSally said in a video she posted on Instagram following her run. She continued by saying that at the moment, adrenaline was still flowing through her body.

She recalled, “He gave me a hug like a bear from behind and started caressing and touching me until I was able to fight him off.” But I didn’t let him go that lightly. I threw a litany of curse words at him as I pursued him.”

McSally disclosed that she had to decide quickly whether to fight, flee, or freeze in such a situation. She decided to fight back and acted, following the offender and flinging her water bottle in his direction. After waiting for the cops to come and calling 911, she followed him into the woods where he was hiding. Even though the offender hasn’t been located, McSally seems to be fine.
