Emergency services rushed nine victims to nearby hospitals by ambulance, while additional injured individuals made their way to seek medical attention. The victims, all adults, suffered the consequences of this appalling act of violence. Sadly, an 18-year-old woman was found deceased at the shooting scene, while a 20-year-old man was pronounced dead after being transported to a hospital, according to a statement from law enforcement.
Eyewitnesses who spoke to broadcasters revealed that the shooting incident occurred during the Brooklyn Day event in South Baltimore, where a significant gathering of hundreds of people had taken place. Authorities stated that a block party had been organized in the area earlier that morning.

Law enforcement officials are diligently working to identify a suspect and determine the motive behind this horrific shooting attack. “This crime scene is extensive, and our detectives will be present for an extended period,” stated Worley, a police spokesperson.
Mayor Brandon Scott urged the public to step forward and assist investigators in apprehending those responsible for this senseless act of violence. “This is an absolute tragedy that could have been prevented,” expressed Mayor Scott. “It formerly again emphasizes the impact and critical need to address the proliferation of illegal arms on our thoroughfares and the ease with which they fall into the wrong hands.”
“We will not rest until we locate those cowards who callously shot dozens of people, claiming two lives,” he declared. According to the Gun Violence Archive (GVA), this incident marks the 337th mass shooting in the United States this year, involving four or more casualties.
