A distressing incident unfolded in San Francisco’s Sunset District on Thursday as two individuals were captured on video robbing a 61-year-old man at gunpoint.

The shocking footage reveals two armed men approaching the victim in his garage near the intersection of 20th and Santiago streets at approximately 7:30 p.m. The perpetrators forcefully held the man at gunpoint and forcefully seized his jade pendant necklace, valued at $4,000.
In the recorded video, the victim can be heard pleading, “Got no money, got no money… got no money man, come on.” Throughout the encounter, the victim repeatedly expressed his desire to avoid any trouble, assuring the assailants by saying “No trouble, no trouble.” Eventually, the victim managed to call the police as the suspects hastily fled the scene in a burgundy Dodge Charger.
It was later revealed that the victim’s 22-year-old son was present in the garage at the time of the robbery
The victim lamented the uncontrollable nature of the crime crisis in the city, urging pedestrians to exercise caution regarding their choice of attire. He stated, “There’s nothing you can do about it. These days, just don’t wear anything valuable.”
San Francisco law enforcement is actively investigating the incident, and they urge anyone who possesses information regarding the identity or whereabouts of the suspects. The police department remains committed to resolving this distressing case and bringing the perpetrators to justice.
