Los Angeles police shot and killed the person who fired at police officers while conducting a traffic stop work last Wednesday morning in South Los Angeles.
Los Angeles police said the shooting incident began before 1:00 AM, close to the intersection of Western and Florence Avenues. Los Angeles police had pulled over a vehicle when an unidentified person, who was not involved in the traffic stop, came near them and started shooting at them.
Two Los Angeles police officers at the scene returned fire, shot the gunman, and the suspect was pronounced dead at the shooting scene. No Los Angeles police officers were injured in the confrontation.
