A well-known Big Apple landlord has continued to hold the dubious title of being the city’s worst landlord, based on a recent study published by Public Advocate Jumaane Williams.

On the 2023 “Worst Landlord Watchlist,” Jonathan Santana has risen to the top thanks to an astounding 3,293 open infractions spread over 15 buildings in Manhattan and Queens. Santana is infamous in the real estate sector as a result of this unprecedented volume of infractions.

The individual owns buildings, where 2,980 infractions were reported in the last year. This figure, however, is insignificant in light of the astounding 3,286 violations that have been documented in 306 different units this current year.
