In the Bronx, a man clutching a knife goes on a 2-hour crime spree

The NYPD has revealed that one of the suspects in two prior robberies is linked to the vicious stabbing death of a 70-year-old employee in a Bronx business.

A 70-year-old employee at a beauty supplies store in Ollinville was repeatedly stabbed by a man in what appeared to be an unplanned assault. On December 15, at approximately 12:30 p.m., according to the police, the suspect entered the beauty supply store on White Plains Road. According to the police, he approached the elderly man, took out a knife, and repeatedly stabbed him in the chest.

After being taken to Jacobi Medical Center, the victim’s condition was declared critical by the physicians.

Investigators now have cause to suspect that the same person earlier that attacked two more establishments on same day.
