Hannah Tubbs, who had previously served time in a Los Angeles juvenile facility for assaulting a 10-year-old girl in Denny’s bathroom, faced more serious charges, including first-degree murder

However, last month, Hannah Tubbs agreed to a plea deal. The victim, Michael Clark, and Hannah Tubbs had been friends living together in a “survivalist transient” community outdoors. The relationship took a tragic turn when Hannah Tubbs stole $100, leading to a confrontation between the two. Apologizing to the victim’s family during the sentencing, Hannah Tubbs claimed remorse for his actions.

Despite being treated as a female in Los Angeles, Hannah Tubbs was held in the Kern County Jail’s men’s facility. It was revealed that Hannah Tubbs had only pretended to change gender identity, with evidence suggesting this was an attempt to be housed with juvenile girls, consistent with his documented choice of prey. State correction officials will now determine whether Hannah Tubbs will be transferred to a male or female prison.

Hannah Tubbs’ criminal history extends beyond California, with records in Idaho and Washington

Past allegations include attacks on little girls in a library and a toy store, along with a prior assault-with-a-deadly-weapon conviction. In jailhouse phone calls obtained by Fox News, Hannah Tubbs gloated over lenient sentencing policies in Los Angeles that kept him off the state’s sex offender registry.

Prosecutor Shea Sanna, who handled Hannah Tubbs’ case in Los Angeles, attended the sentencing in Bakersfield. Still, L.A. prosecutors sought a custody transfer for justice in the 2014 sex assault case of a 10-year-old girl, which remained in juvenile court under the direction of Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon.
