Rudy Giuliani, a former mayor of New York, has acknowledged using a “dirty technique” in the 1993 mayoral election to decrease the Hispanic vote.

Throughout a talk on his America’s Mayor Live program on Tuesday, Giuliani disclosed his suppression of votes strategies to Steve Bannon, a supporter of Donald Trump on the extreme right, and Kari Lake, a lost Republican candidate for governor of Arizona.

Giuliani, who played a key role in Trump’s efforts to influence the results of the 2020 presidential election, was talking to Lake when he said, “I’m going to reveal you a single little dirty trick.” Lake responded, “We require dirty tricks.” Giuliani regretted that he was “cheated” throughout the 1989 mayoral race, which he lost. He then went on to clarify his 1993 campaign strategy.

A deceptive technique in New York City? I’m very surprised,” Bannon replied jokingly. The former Trump help was then cut off by Giuliani, who replied: “No, played by Republicans!”

Bannon declared, “Republicans don’t play dirty tricks,” and then Giuliani declared, “What about that one?” Give this to me, Bannon said in response.
