Georgia Middle School Teacher Arrested After Threatening to Cut Off Muslim Student’s Head Following Heated Confrontation

A 51-year-old middle school teacher in Georgia named Benjamin Reese was arrested after threatening to cut off a Muslim student’s head following a heated confrontation, where the victim told the middle school teacher that an Israeli flag hanging inside his classroom was offensive.

According to a report published in Fox News, the middle school teacher accused the Muslim student of being antisemitic after she confronted him but claimed that she immediately left the classroom; however, the middle school teacher prevented her and threatened her.

In a surveillance video released, the Georgia middle school teacher was seen shouting at the victim before going back to the classroom and although the video has no audio, several witnesses claimed that the middle school teacher really threatened the student and said horrible things.

Georgia Middle School Teacher Denies Claims of Threatening Muslim Student Who Confronted Him About Israeli Flag

Following the arrest, the middle school teacher denied the claims of threatening the Muslim student who confronted him about the Israeli flag and claimed that he didn’t say anything horrible to her.

The middle school teacher was released on bail bond, but he was reportedly required to not go to the school premises or get close to his victim as part of the regulations for educators, CNN reported.
