Former Yale Student Accused of Raping Female Student After Party Claims He Did Not Get Fair Hearing
A former Yale student, now 30-year-old Saifullah Khan, who was accused of raping a female student after a Halloween costume party, claimed he never got a fair hearing, wherein the former Yale student already filed a lawsuit against Yale but failed to sue his accuser.
According to a report published in Daily Caller, the former Yale student was accused of raping a fellow student after they attended a Halloween costume party; however, the former Yale student claimed that they had a consensual sexual encounter at that time.
Despite the claims of the former Yale student, the court did not even give him a chance to cross-examine with the accuser, which added to the unfair hearing of the former Yale student, leading to horrible judgment against him as if he had already been convicted.
Former Yale Student Receives Criticism Over Rape Allegations Despite Being Acquitted
During his trial, the former Yale student was criticized and suspended from attending classes after being accused of rape, which left horrible memories for the former Yale student despite not being convicted, New York Post reported.
However, the criticism did not end with his acquittal as people started a petition opposing his return to school, eventually leading to his expulsion despite not being guilty of raping his fellow student, prompting the former Yale student to sue his accuser for defamation.
