Former Idaho trooper charged with murder after fatally shooting his wife because of her affair.
Former Idaho Trooper Kills Wife After Her Affair With His Friend
Daniel Charles Howard, 57, a former Idaho trooper, went to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office and reported that his wife, Kendy Howard, was discovered naked, dead in a bathtub.
The former Idaho trooper’s daughter, Brooke Williams, claimed in a Facebook post that her mother had never used a gun before when authorities considered suicide in the case. She also detailed how her mother suffered from physical and emotional abuse for the last years of their marriage.
Upon investigation, authorities found that Kendy admitted to Howard her affair with his friend, Matthew Wood, which became too much for the former Idaho trooper and led to the tragic incident, Law and Crime reported.
