Finding out whether a state or city is experiencing population growth or decline is always interesting. A recent study suggests that Florida may experience a significant population decline.

This issue is not restricted to the United States, either. For instance, South Korea, which has one of the worst fertility rates, encourages new parents to have kids by providing them with loan rates 1-3% lower than those offered by commercial banks, among other programs.
They also list a few more variables that discourage couples from having numerous children. High inflation is one. Of course, raising a family becomes more expensive as living expenses rise.
