As stated by the Federal Aviation Administration, a Delta Air Lines-operated Boeing 757 lost a nose wheel on Saturday as it was ready to take off from Atlanta’s main airport. It was the most recent alarming incident involving an aircraft from the firm.
At approximately 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, Delta Air Lines Flight 982 was getting ready to depart off from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport for a flight to Bogotá, Colombia, when a “nose wheel fell off and rolled down the hill,” the airline reported in a preliminary assessment.
According to the report, over 170 passengers were forced to depart, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The customers were placed on an alternate flight, according to a Delta representative.
An official from Boeing stopped from commenting and pointed questions to Delta.
