According to a report in ABC News, authorities responded to a report about a fire that sparked from an electric bicycle battery, wherein they discovered that there were six people severely injured from the tragic accident after the electric bicycle battery sparked massive fire, including a man who was pronounced dead at the hospital.

During the investigation, authorities found an electric bicycle battery at the scene, which led them to claim that the electric bicycle battery caused massive fires just like how it had caused many other reported fires in the country.

Local Officials Call for Stricter Electric Bicycle Battery Policies and Regulations Following Massive Fire in Public Housing Complex

Following the massive fire in a public housing complex, local officials and authorities called for stricter electric bicycle battery policies and regulations for all users to reduce the increasing number of fire cases due to electric bicycle battery.

Other landlords also implemented stricter measures and restricted their renters from parking electric bicycle battery inside the premises of the public housing complex or their apartments, HNGN reported.
