E. Jean Carroll discusses her legal triumph over Donald Trump: “I feel wonderful”

The day after the court discovered former President Donald Trump responsible for the violence and harassment in her lawsuit over him, longtime tips columnist E. Jean Carroll exclaimed that she is “excellent” and that she is “overjoyed.”

Carroll said in a discussion with ABC News George Stephanopoulos on “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, “Yesterday was undoubtedly the most joyful day of my entire life.”

Carroll claimed that Trump sexually assaulted her in a Bergdorf Goodman changing closet in Manhattan during the mid-1990s after which he defamed her by making fun of and tossing out her allegation in 2022 in a complaint submitted last November. Trump dismissed every accusation.

Despite sexually abusing and defaming Carroll, the judge in a federal court in New York City on Tuesday found that Trump never raped Carroll. Carroll received a $5 million compensation award from the judges.
