Alfred Shawntez Cole, a 19-year-old Georgia man, was killed by drug agents

Drug Agents fatally shot a 19-year-old Georgia man after they said the Georgia man pulled out his gun, police authorities said last Thursday.

Alfred Shawntez Cole, a 19-year-old Georgia man, was killed by drug agents of Thomas County. The state agency is leading the inquiry into the shooting of the 19-year-old Georgia man.

The drug agents searched a Thomasville neighborhood for another Georgia man with pending warrants for failing to appear in court when a Thomas County deputy police asked the officers to watch for a Toyota Camry driving erratically.

The body of the Georgia man is scheduled to undergo an autopsy

The drug agents spotted the car and tried to pull it over, but Georgia sped up and got away. After a short chase, the Camry stops near some woods. Police told investigators that a Georgia man got out of the car and pulled his handgun and that two drug agents then shot and killed the Georgia man

The Thomas County Sheriff’s Officers said last Thursday that the drug agents first tried to shock a Georgia man with a stun gun. After they shot the Georgia man, they administered first aid, and he was taken to a hospital, where the Georgia man died.

The gun of a Georgia man was recovered and had formerly been reported as a stolen gun, the GBI said. The district attorney determines whether to seek criminal charges against the drug agents.
